You’ll be happy to learn that there is plenty for you to engage in no matter how long you decide to stay with us. Besides splashing fun in the water and numerous exciting excursions, here are some exciting land activities you can take part in for free at the Club Med Phuket resort.
Archery & flying trapeze school
Want to try something out of the norm during your Phuket trip? One of the activities you should take part in are Club Med Phuket resort’s archery group lessons. During these lessons, learn how to hold a bow and arrow properly, and then be guided on how to hit the target effectively. If you feel confident after the lessons, you can even challenge your classmates to a friendly tournament.
For something extra special, try our flying trapeze and trampoline group lessons! Fulfil that childhood dream of being an acrobat with the circus, flying through the air bravely. Of course, there is safety equipment around to catch you as you learn the skills required. Prefer something more casual? The trampoline classes will probably hit the right spot, especially for your kids (available for those aged four and above). At the same time, letting the trampoline release you from gravity will also equally awaken the child in you, so definitely give it a try. It’s not just jumping around though, you can try out cool acrobatic tricks too!
Thai boxing school
For those who want to learn something local, then the Thai boxing group lessons are a perfect choice. Where better to learn this sport than its birthplace, Thailand? Don’t worry if you have no experience at all, these classes serve as a gentle introduction rather than a 0-to-100 one. Learn how to both kick and punch in the Thai way and get a full-body workout at the same time. An even more intense workout than Western boxing, for sure! Adults are not the only ones who can take part; lessons are open to those aged eight and above.
Golf and tennis school
One of Club Med Phuket’s pull factors is that it caters for both novice and avid golfers and tennis players. For golfers, there is the option to join our golf group lessons, where you can learn and practise the technical skills involved in effective golfing. These skills include chipping, pitching, putting, woods and irons, bunker play, and more. Those who want to practise on their own time can get free access to Club Med Phuket resort’s golf facilities, or alternatively, you can opt to go to the various highly-renowned golf courses within an hour’s drive from the resort at your own expense.
If you’re more of a racket sports person, don’t fret because you can always opt for the tennis group lessons offered by our resort. Learn technical foundations and tactics such as the forehand, the backhand, lob, passing shot, and more during these lessons, and break a good sweat at the same time. You can also access the resort’s five tennis courts in your own time if you want to practise further.
