Learn moreWe went to Scuba Dive. Club Med Turkoise is clearly not set up for that. I wanted to try paddle boarding as well, but it wasn't workable around diving hours. Also, breakfast hours aren't compatible with diving, as they don't open until 7;15 am, and you have to be at the boat by 7:45. Just not practical. Resort overall is ok. Food good - sometimes great, mostly ok. Avoid anything that looks like a 'mousse' at the dessert bar. It's not mousse. It's some strange jello thing - really gross. Bar was pleasant, and did have some creative non-alcoholic options, which is nice as diving and drinking aren't compatible. Location can't be beat for quiet enjoyment. Club Med is toward the end of the resort strip, so it's isolated from the crazy noise and party vibe of the rest of the area. I prefer quiet, so this was perfect for me. I walked the beach as far as Beaches (about 2.5 miles), and Club Med's location was by far the best in my opinion. Some aspects of the resort could use a facelift, but since we were looking for reasonable prices, we were glad nothing has been done which would necessitate a rate increase. Overall a good experience, and staff was very quick to respond when service was requested or problems came up. If you're looking for a fancy, luxury experience, this is not it. For reasonable prices, an overall good resort, abundant and relatively varied food, and insanely great scuba diving guides - highly recommended.
See on TripAdvisorA care free week of rejuvenation on a gorgeous, very wide, white sand beach with excellent food, activities and go go go entertainment. We'll return!
See on TripAdvisorHad an amazing one week long experience here at Club Med Turkoise. This club is adult-only, in contrast to most other clubs. It is about 30min from the airport, so the shuttle is very convenient. The endless abundance of activities plus friendliness of the staff is what made this stay so memorable. Manu (Manuela) from yoga is fantastic, and Luna the sports manager is very warm. I enjoyed spectating a few pickleball games as there was a retreat, and Shaquile and I had some great conversations. I went to flying trapeze and the indoor aerial lessons nearly daily - special shout out to the superb circus team: Tom, Alex, Isa, Bella, and Hayden! They really went the extra mile in ensuring I had a fantastic experience. Guests are allowed to participate in the flying trapeze show Tuesday night, so that was quite the experience. Tommy, the bartender at Sharkies, is very skilled and makes well-balanced drinks. I enjoyed a 2-tank dive with Divemaster David, and we saw sharks, barracudas, moray eels, and lion fish. Ryan from HR has some ballroom/latin dance moves up his sleeve! There are 2 restaurants, and I dined mostly at Grace Bay. The options rotate daily, and they were delicious. There is a show every night except Sat. Grace Bay Beach is stunning, and the water sports here include Hobie cat, paddleboard, and kayak (shout out to Felyx from water sports). We also enjoyed having meals with various staff members, including Riley (lights and sound) and Miaro (costume design). My friend and I had great massages by Susana and Kim on the last day.
See on TripAdvisorI’m not much of a complainer but on the other hand, for a french international resort I was a bit disappointed with the quality of food, the plating did not make up for the lack of flavor and freshness, sorry :/ This club med was the first where the GOs don’t like to hang out as much with members, It felt like they were on leash’s that were held short. GOs should be more outgoing, social, and wanting to hang around with you. This is how great times are made into greater times. I’m very social so I put myself out there but at moments I did not feel the same energy. Something has to change in that area :(
ONTO THE GOOD! I’ve heard leaving a review is the best way to thank the GOs of Club Med so I will keep my promise. I had a great time throughout my week and was able to meet many fun people and I want to give them all a good word. I’ll start with the reception team who were extremely welcoming and helpful for any of my questions. Reception really liked us. The circus crew taught me how to trapeze, which was amazing, Tom, Alex, Hayden, Isa, Bella, and Gerardo were fun people to meet so thank you. I wasn’t much of a sailer before this trip but with enough convincing I learned a new trick and had the chance to go on an excursion to Iguana island where it must’ve been the wind, shoutout to Vicky, Felyx, Yorran, Beatrice, and Royce! Went snorkeling as well, saw lots of fish and a nurse shark! I liked the crew and the captain was funny. All these activities are fun so the need to relax is important, the massages were to die for, I felt reborn and ready for it all again. Same with the yoga, sound bowls, and aqua gym, Manu was energetic to be around and did a great job getting us active. For an all inclusive I got my moneys worth at the bar, and made a very good friend who serves very good drinks, Enrique I like your vibe and I’m glad we shared laughs and story’s. Loved Tommy, Zach, and Ramazan were also behind the bar making sure we were never thirsty, thank you. Last but not least, DjDre604! Made us dance all night and kept the hype going, a little repetitive on the songs but they were all golden. Thank you Twerks n Caicos!
